Megan Wood

Megan read Law at University and went on to attain a Masters in Legal Practice. Before joining Mercers in 2021, Megan worked in Manchester at an international law firm as well as in-house at a cyber security company, giving her a wide variety of experience.
Megan qualified as a Solicitor in 2024 and specialises in both Residential Property and Litigation as set out below:
Residential Property:
- House/Flat sales and purchases
- Probate Sales
- Remortgages
- Transfers of equity
Litigation and Disputes:
- Commercial and Residential property disputes including: forfeiture, possession claims, breach of lease disputes, including rent arrears, rights of way and easements, boundary disputes, joint ownership disputes and lease renewals.
- Contentious Probate and Trusts including: claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975, claims against Executors or Trustees for breach of duty and resolving disputes between Executors or Trustees
- Commercial or debt claims
- Professional Negligence

When Megan is not working she enjoys travelling – having spent 6 months travelling South America, playing netball for a local team, and cooking.
