The much loved Henley Farm and Country Show returns on Saturday 13 September  — it’s a firm fixture in our local events calendar, with lots to see and do. 

Mercers is proud to be a sponsor once again, supporting our vibrant local communities on a packed day that showcases the best of Oxfordshire’s rural life and traditions.

Held annually since 1891, the show is held on the Henley Showground, just outside Henley on Thames. Whether you’re arriving by car — there is plentiful free parking — or hopping on the free shuttle bus from Henley town centre, getting there should be easy and stress-free for you and your family.

• displays of agricultural machinery and livestock parades
• the ever-popular Sheep Show featuring rare and interesting breeds
• gun dog demonstrations, plus the Companion Dog Show which is open for on-the-day entries.
• heavy horse display, the Woodland Pony Club Show, Shetland pony racing and scurry racing
• classic cars and vintage tractors – with an afternoon Grand Parade
• produce and baking tents showcasing local talent, from home-grown marrows to home-cooked sponges
• shopping stalls with artisan goods, country crafts, and delicious treats – ideal for starting that Christmas shopping

The show is organised by the Henley and District Agricultural Association, a local charity dedicated to supporting agricultural organisations and preserving our farming heritage.
